I purchased the scheepjes merino soft yarn for the not quite finished project below from Yarnalicious. It was an excellent experience. First, They had all the yarn I needed in stock. I'm crocheting my favourite shawl and to be honest, I'd like to make one in every colour! Yarnalicious had the one I had searched for.... Whirl and whirlette is nice yarn to work with as it's delicate and doesn't unravel. Washes and wears well. Buy some! (Patten is available to buy on Ravelry.com. Grinda shawl by www.lillabjorncrochet.com) Started shawl in "Mid morning moocharoo". Finished one is in "Blackcurrent squeeze me" You'll need a whirl and a toning whirlette to make one like this.

I had bought some of the scheepjes secret garden yarn to try on one project, but hadn't realised it was so textured so looked about for a pattern it was designed for and bought this scheepjes pattern for a shawl. The shawl is easy to knit, just the basic stitches, however the pattern clearly shows not only the balls of yarn used, their colour numbers and which one makes which section, but also shows all the other colour options available, which is great, so you can customise the shawl easily.
I would have preferred a digital version as the am sight impaired, but I knit with a Freind who helps me, but it should really be available digitally so that everyone can follow the pattern.

I have received three balls of Scheepjes Whirl and the service was 100% from start to finish. The Scheepjes cakes are a little annoying in that they have numerous knots. These are supposed to be able to be worked in as you go. I have found that you need, very carefully, to remove the surplus yarn around these knots. The colour change is very gradual and works well

I enjoy this yarn so much, waiting for the gradual shift in colour as I knit and feeling how soft it is.
