Terrazzo is made from a Premium blend of 70% Recycled Mulesing Free Wool and 30% Recycled Viscose. This felted, tweed yarn has a luxurious look and feel and is washable up to 30ᵒC. The subtly speckled colour effect, reminiscent of terrazzo floors, is achieved by twisting fibres of contrasting and complementary colours.
Scheepjes Terrazzo benefits from the breathability of Wool and Viscose and combines the best qualities of both. Lightweight Viscose is moisture absorbent and gives a silky soft feel with beautiful drape, while the wool contributes the rustic appearance and wonderful warmth. This makes Terrazzo suitable for a diverse range of crochet and knitting projects of all shapes and sizes: from clothing, such as sweaters and cardigans, to fashion accessories and homeware. It’s perfect also for knitting and crocheting in multiple colours and can be effectively combined with Scheepjes yarns in other textures, such as Alpaca Rhythm and Mohair Rhythm.
The recommended hook and needle size is 4.00mm (gauge: 27 stitches x 35 rows to 10cm in stockinette stitch). Scheepjes Terrazzo is available in 50g (175m) balls and has 60 colours in the range.

Very easy to work with, I've made several sweaters and the final product is very wearable (a tiny bit itchy but most people aren't bothered by it) and very warm! I saw another review complain about the yarn breaking too easily and I definitely haven't had that problem, even when frogging and redoing work multiple times. I did however have an issue using the yarn to sew pieces together and having to undo the sitches, Something about undoing stitches untwists the yarn in a way that makes it weak.
All in all, highly recommend. I will be buying more in the future
If I didn't like Terrazzo, I was going to say it was terr-erible... BUT -- IT'S FANTASTIC. The colors are beautiful and the little nuances of extra color adds to the depth of the finished work. It's soft and is crocheting beautifully. Big bonus - it's ethically sourced and recycled. My order from Yarnalicious was accurate and delivery was speedy! Very happy!!
A great yarn with an array of different coloured speckles throughout. Easy to knit with and it holds the shape of the garment perfectly. It creates a light fabric and I'm sure it will be a favourite to wear in the future. The only downside is a technical one - as in: I couldn't find a single online photo on different websites that accurately reflected the true colour of the yarn I actually received. Luckily I was happy with the colour anyway but I think it is something to bear in mind when ordering.

I bought 3 balls of this yarn in order to crochet some skull motifs in the centre of some granny squares for Hallowe'en. it's lovely yarn - very soft and easy to work with and I love the fun idea of it being glow-in-the-dark. I must confess that I haven't yet tested this property to see how well it does glow but at Hallowe'en I will be trying it out once I've put the squares together in a blanket.
