English Edition.

Memory is the third book of "the guy with the hook." In his first book; Journey, Mark created 12 crochet patterns inspired and accompanied by personal travel stories. After this success, he came up with his second book; Gallery, in which he explored the world of art. Again, he used his personal view on 12 masterpieces made by famous painters to translate them into crochet projects.

In this third book; Memory, we return to the world of travel. Mark has selected ten destinations with a beautiful, precious memory. He tells you his personal experiences and has made a beautiful and matching crochet pattern for every memory. We travel from China to Denmark and from Scotland to Egypt. In this third part, Mark appropriately closes his passion for travel, so go on a journey one last time with him to discover the world!

Brilliant book

Only bought this for 1 pattern but I've found a few more I'll try at some point. It's written using American rather than UK stitch terms/names so I'll need to be a bit careful because there isn't a huge difference between the 2 until you're actually crocheting, then you can end up in a bit of a pickle, but it's not the end of the world. Each pattern has some information on the inspiration for them which makes for interesting reading. Only thing I'm not keen on is the orange writing on a black background. I find it really difficult to read without squinting or using a brighter light but that could just be my eyesight and personal preference. Apart from that I'm glad I got the book and I'm looking forward to trying the patterns, think there's 2 more books before this one so I'll look at buying them in the future.
