This needle gauge by ChiaoGoo is a handy accessory for knitting. The square needle gauge is indispensable for double pointed needles or circular needles without a clear needle size, but also a solution if the needle size specification has faded over time due to frequent use. This needle gauge is made of sturdy, white plastic and is double-sided. In fact, on one side, you will find a ruler with the size indication in centimetres (up to 7.6cm) and the indication for European needle sizes (2.75, 3.00, 3.25, 3.50, 3.75, 4.00, 4.50, 5.00, 5.50, 6.00, 6.50, 8.00, 9.00 and 10.00mm). The other side, instead, features a ruler with the size indication in inches (up to 3 inches) and the indication for American needle sizes (2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 13 and 15)

I bought 3 balls of this yarn in order to crochet some skull motifs in the centre of some granny squares for Hallowe'en. it's lovely yarn - very soft and easy to work with and I love the fun idea of it being glow-in-the-dark. I must confess that I haven't yet tested this property to see how well it does glow but at Hallowe'en I will be trying it out once I've put the squares together in a blanket.
