Scheepjes’ Pretty Little Things No. 15 - Hooray! contains cute patterns for festive items, including crocheted cupcakes, a knitted crown and a colourful tote bag. This issue of Pretty Little Things is a party all on its own!

In this booklet there are not only festive patterns, but also fun and helpful extras. Each pattern has its own handy cut-and-go shopping list and space for project notes. The list of amusing party games provides great ideas for entertaining party guests! Also included are bonus DIY Bunting instructions for a quick and easy party accessory!

The first project is the crocheted Pretty Little Cupcakes, designed by Elise Verra. The festive sweets are crocheted using Scheepjes Catona and Catona Denim yarns and will be the icing on the cake at any doll tea party! The second project is the knitted Teatime Tiara by Cher Marcus. The pattern includes sizes S (toddler), M (child) and L (adult) and is easy to adjust to any head circumference. Scheepjes Cotton 8 gives the design a beautiful stitch definition and the use of craft glue ensures that the crown stands up nice and tall.

The final project is the sewn Trinket Tote designed by Liz Barraclough. The padded 18 x 18cm bag is equipped with two handles and is decorated with 4 handy pen pockets and 4 lovely Bottoni Italiani buttons.

If I didn't like Terrazzo, I was going to say it was terr-erible... BUT -- IT'S FANTASTIC. The colors are beautiful and the little nuances of extra color adds to the depth of the finished work. A great yarn with an array of different coloured speckles throughout. Easy to knit with and it holds the shape of the garment perfectly. It creates a light fabric and I'm sure it will be a favourite to wear in the future. The only downside is a technical one - as in: I couldn't find a single online photo on different websites that accurately reflected the true colour of the yarn I actually received. Luckily I was happy with the colour anyway but I think it is something to bear in mind when ordering.

Re the Yarn - I chose it primarily for the colour as my daughter had requested a baby pink sweater but I really cannot get to grips with it and don't like the way it knits and the lack of stitch definition, so it is currently dormant and in my stash
