Being made from a high-quality 50% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Microfibre and 25% Acrylic blend, Merino Soft can also be used to craft striking projects that are durable and benefit from the easy care properties of acrylic. Thanks to the fine structure of the Merino wool fibre, enjoy the silky feel of this yarn as it keeps you cosy and warm throughout the changing seasons. Merino Soft is available in a wide range of gorgeous shades named after inspiring artists throughout history.  Each ball of Scheepjes Merino Soft weighs 50 grams and has a length of 105 metres. Recommended needle/hook size is 4.00-5.00mm.

I purchased the scheepjes merino soft yarn for the not quite finished project below from Yarnalicious. It was an excellent experience. First, They had all the yarn I needed in stock. If I didn't like Terrazzo, I was going to say it was terr-erible... BUT -- IT'S FANTASTIC. The colors are beautiful and the little nuances of extra color adds to the depth of the finished work. It's soft and is crocheting beautifully. Big bonus - it's ethically sourced and recycled. My order from Yarnalicious was accurate and delivery was speedy! Very happy!!

Scheepjes Terrazzo yarn

A great yarn with an array of different coloured speckles throughout. Easy to knit with and it holds the shape of the garment perfectly. It creates a light fabric and I'm sure it will be a favourite to wear in the future. The only downside is a technical one - as in: I couldn't find a single online photo on different websites that accurately reflected the true colour of the yarn I actually received. Luckily I was happy with the colour anyway but I think it is something to bear in mind when ordering.

Re the Yarn - I chose it primarily for the colour as my daughter had requested a baby pink sweater but I really cannot get to grips with it and don't like the way it knits and the lack of stitch definition, so it is currently dormant and in my stash
