This is a Crochet Pattern using UK crochet terms

This beginner-friendly design boasts plenty of texture! Rainbow rows of tactile berry and double crochet stitches are framed by a striped border and finished with optional tassels attached at each corner. Crafters will require half of the Scrumptious Colour Pack (40 x 30g balls) and follow the shade numbers listed within the pattern to create the 192 x 130cm blanket. If desired, it is also possible to adapt the colour order of this blanket and use any of the colours within the colour pack, making this design an excellent option for exploring colour placement.

The Scrumptious Stripes Blanket designed by Helen Anderson features in YARN - The After Party 202.

Makers can use the remaining 40 balls from the Colour Pack to crochet the Scrumptious Squares Blanket found in YARN – The After Party 203.

Materials

This pattern uses 40 x 30g balls from the colour pack, an additional 4 x full-sized (100g) Scrumptious balls (302 Buttercream Icing) and a 4mm crochet hook.

If I didn't like Terrazzo, I was going to say it was terr-erible... BUT -- IT'S FANTASTIC. The colors are beautiful and the little nuances of extra color adds to the depth of the finished work. Scheepjes Terrazzo yarn

A great yarn with an array of different coloured speckles throughout. Easy to knit with and it holds the shape of the garment perfectly. It creates a light fabric and I'm sure it will be a favourite to wear in the future. The only downside is a technical one - as in: I couldn't find a single online photo on different websites that accurately reflected the true colour of the yarn I actually received. Luckily I was happy with the colour anyway but I think it is something to bear in mind when ordering.

Re the Yarn - I chose it primarily for the colour as my daughter had requested a baby pink sweater but I really cannot get to grips with it and don't like the way it knits and the lack of stitch definition, so it is currently dormant and in my stash
