The first project is the fun Jarred the Parrot, designed by Marja Waalwijk and crocheted using Scheepjes Cotton 8.

The second project is the cute duo Kate and Kobe Koala, designed by Cher Marcus and knitted using Scheepjes Softfun from a Softfun Minis Colour Pack.

The final project in this issue of Pretty Little Things is the adorable Simon Snake, a design by Liz Barraclough and sewed using Opry Elastic Waistband and Cuffs.

If I didn't like Terrazzo, I was going to say it was terr-erible... BUT -- IT'S FANTASTIC. The colors are beautiful and the little nuances of extra color adds to the depth of the finished work. It's soft and is crocheting beautifully. Big bonus - it's ethically sourced and recycled. My order from Yarnalicious was accurate and delivery was speedy! Very happy!!

Scheepjes Terrazzo yarn

A great yarn with an array of different coloured speckles throughout. Easy to knit with and it holds the shape of the garment perfectly. It creates a light fabric and I'm sure it will be a favourite to wear in the future. The only downside is a technical one - as in: I couldn't find a single online photo on different websites that accurately reflected the true colour of the yarn I actually received. Luckily I was happy with the colour anyway but I think it is something to bear in mind when ordering.

Re the Yarn - I chose it primarily for the colour as my daughter had requested a baby pink sweater but I really cannot get to grips with it and don't like the way it knits and the lack of stitch definition, so it is currently dormant and in my stash
