Go on an adventure with Scheepjes Arcadia! Scheepjes Arcadia is a gorgeous sock yarn, inspired by impressive landscapes from all over the world. It is a wear-resistant yarn made from 75% Superwash Virgin Wool and 25% Polyamide in both striped colourways and solid colours.

The yarn is warm but still has the breathable quality of wool. It is wear-resistant and easy to care for, thanks to the polyamide component. Arcadia has great stitch definition, feels slightly rustic to the touch, but softens during use. The Scheepjes Arcadia collection offers both striped colourways and solid colours, which grants plenty of options for creating your very own knitted socks. For example, you can knit a striped sock with heel and toes in solid shades. Arcadia is of course also suitable for all sorts of clothing and accessories, such as sweaters and scarves.

The yarn is available in 7 striped colourways and 5 solid colours.

If I didn't like Terrazzo, I was going to say it was terr-erible... BUT -- IT'S FANTASTIC. The colors are beautiful and the little nuances of extra color adds to the depth of the finished work. It's soft and is crocheting beautifully. Big bonus - it's ethically sourced and recycled. My order from Yarnalicious was accurate and delivery was speedy! Very happy!!

Scheepjes Terrazzo yarn

A great yarn with an array of different coloured speckles throughout. Easy to knit with and it holds the shape of the garment perfectly. It creates a light fabric and I'm sure it will be a favourite to wear in the future. The only downside is a technical one - as in: I couldn't find a single online photo on different websites that accurately reflected the true colour of the yarn I actually received. Luckily I was happy with the colour anyway but I think it is something to bear in mind when ordering.

Re the Yarn - I chose it primarily for the colour as my daughter had requested a baby pink sweater but I really cannot get to grips with it and don't like the way it knits and the lack of stitch definition, so it is currently dormant and in my stash
