The Scheepjes Kit Experience offers complete kits for different craft techniques and skill levels. Each kit contains the materials as well as an instructions booklet to get started with a new project. The knitting pattern for the Fibonacci Shawlette in this Scheepjes knitting kit was designed by Carmen Jorissen. The lace patterns run like lush foliage from the centre and extend to all sides, making this shawl the perfect finishing touch to even the simplest outfits. The pattern repeats follow the mathematical Fibonacci sequence. This pattern is intended for the advanced knitter. The beautiful scarf in the shape of a semicircle is knitted with Scheepjes Our Tribe, a wonderfully soft and light yarn made from 75% Superwash merino Wool and 25% Polyamide. This Scheepjes knitting kit contains the following materials:

  • 3 x Scheepjes Our Tribe of 100 grams with a running length of 420 metres per ball
  • 1 x Opry digital row counter
  • 1 x instructions booklet in Dutch, English and German

    You will also need a circular knitting needle in 80cm length with a needle size of 3.00mm and 2 stitch markers. The scarf is 115cm wide and 50cm long. Each kit is packed in a sturdy cardboard box with Scheepjes logo measuring 26 x 21 x 9cm.

    If I didn't like Terrazzo, I was going to say it was terr-erible... BUT -- IT'S FANTASTIC. The colors are beautiful and the little nuances of extra color adds to the depth of the finished work. It's soft and is crocheting beautifully. Big bonus - it's ethically sourced and recycled. My order from Yarnalicious was accurate and delivery was speedy! Very happy!!

    A great yarn with an array of different coloured speckles throughout. Easy to knit with and it holds the shape of the garment perfectly. It creates a light fabric and I'm sure it will be a favourite to wear in the future. The only downside is a technical one - as in: I couldn't find a single online photo on different websites that accurately reflected the true colour of the yarn I actually received. Luckily I was happy with the colour anyway but I think it is something to bear in mind when ordering.

    Re the Yarn - I chose it primarily for the colour as my daughter had requested a baby pink sweater but I really cannot get to grips with it and don't like the way it knits and the lack of stitch definition, so it is currently dormant and in my stash
